Royal Adhesives and Sealants offers a wide range of adhesives, sealants, encapsulants, potting compounds, and caulks for the automotive market under the Hardman®, Silaprene® and Hydra FAST-EN® brand names.

Hardman EPOCAP® epoxy and KALEX® polyurethane systems are used to protect sensitive electrical equipment such as capacitors and sensors used throughout an automobile from damage by moisture, shock, vibration and corrosion, as well as from thermal stress. Hardman also offers adhesives and casting compounds for the manufacture of air and oil filters. DOUBLE/BUBBLE® single-use packets can be used for aftermarket repair of interior and exterior parts including repair of center consoles, side mirrors, bumpers, and general repairs requiring a strong and permanent bond.

Silaprene solvent-based and Hydra FAST-EN® water-based adhesives and sealants are used in a variety of automotive applications such as bonding of seating, visors, door panels, and headliners by Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers. Silaprene adhesives are available in Cal compliant, HAPs free, and low VOC formulations. They offer excellent green strength and repositioning ability. Hydra FAST-EN® water-based adhesives are environmentally friendly. They offer immediate bonding and reposition ability.
