Royal Adhesives and Sealants manufactures and markets a wide range of solvent-based and water-based adhesives and sealants to the marine market under the Silaprene® and Hydra FAST-EN® brand names.

Royal offers a complete line of Silaprene solvent-based adhesives and sealants that meets MACT Standards for the marine industry. The boat builder can choose from Silaprene HAPs-free, HAPs-free low VOC, non-flammable, and aerosol contact adhesives, 1-part moisture-cure polyurethane adhesives, and 1-part non-yellowing sealants.

Royal also offers Hydra FAST-EN® water-based adhesives that meet MACT Standard requirements. When a major boat OEM in south Florida needed to switch from solvent-based adhesives they turned to Royal. Our dedicated team of sales & technical experts developed a Hydra FAST-EN® adhesive specifically for this customer that provided excellent bonding of carpet to FRP, headliner to FRP and foam to ABS or wood. Additionally, we designed the lay out and specifications on 24 pieces of equipment to spray our adhesives. Within 60 days this boat manufacture was 100% switched from solvent-based to water-based adhesives.
